Five valleys success at the Stroud Half Marathon
A three strong team provided sports injury advice and sports massage at this year’s half marathon. In wet and windy conditions the whole day was a success. Geoff, Cas and Caroline worked endlessly to help those with injuries and those requiring recovery massage. Geoff even ran to spur on his fellow runners in the interim and with wobbly legs continued working after.
We welcomed Keri Johnson, Chartered Physiotherapist, to our team. Keri is a clinical specialist within the NHS and is now going to help us develop our hydrotherapy service.

Physiotherapy at Twickenham
Team Physiotherapist to Gloucestershire RFU, Geoff Twinning, travelled with the squad to Twickenham to compete in the Final of the Bill Beaumont Trophy against Lancashire. This was a fight to crown the winner National Champions. Unfortunately for Gloucestershire they were on the wrong end of a very physical game. Geoff had his work cut out with multiple head injuries, broken ribs and numerous players requiring taping.
